‘Dramatists’ is certainly the correct name for the very energetic bunch of children chosen to write the script! This was seen in their very dramatic interpretations of elements of the story which they acted out with enthusiasm. The children got into character with some amusing outcomes.

Dumpy’s poem.
My name’s Dumpy
My toes are lumpy
When I look down
I make a frown!
There’s my head
There’s my toes too
I love food
so do you!
Chicken’s brown
Chocolate’s white
I love them both
So I’ll take a bite!
Next are bananas
I love them so much
I love them a lot
I’ve got a big bunch.
Grapes, Grapes
I love them so
the more you eat
the more you’ll grow!
Limes and peaches
eat them on beaches
eat them all the time
we just made a rhyme!
